While it might not be possible to completely break the reliance on your car there are always opportunities to use it less. For example, think about whether you need to take the car for those shorter journeys. After all, if everyone in Scotland drove their car 5 miles less per week, this is the equivalent of taking nearly 70,000 cars off the road.
